ALMENARA SOTOGRANDE

Situated next to Valderrama on the Sotogrande Estate Almenara has 27 holes and was designed by the same designer of San Roque Old, Dave Thomas. There are beautiful views to the Almenara hills and the course is surrounded by pine and cork trees. The course has been designed to suit all abilities from the high handicapper to the golf professional. The 4* Almenara Hotel, which is attached to the course, is excellent and, if you enjoy a quieter location, it could be the place for you.

How to get there: 

From Málaga: Take the A-7 highway toward Algeciras - Cadiz. Once on this highway, merge onto the AP-7 Freeway or continue on the A-7 to Exit 130, “Castellar, Guadiaro and Sotogrande”. At the roundabout, follow the signs toward Castellar and keep going until you see the signs to the hotel. In total, the trip takes about 50 minutes (from Malaga airport).
