LA. NORIA: Alter playing this new , very challenging 9 hole course (second 9 due to open in 18 months) at La Cala, only minutes from the SUNSHINE GOLF STORE, the directors and Club Captain of the Sunshine Golf club have agreed with La Noria that we can use their clubhouse as the base for the Club, giving members a local meeting point. For the superb greenfee price of only 30 euros. (for 18 holes).

Tuesdays and Thursdays have been reserved each week. Tuesday will be Club day, enjoy your golf with other members of the club, and Thursday is Competition day. Tee times to be after 9.00am First club day 11th May first competition day 13th May, (Announcement and presentation to the winner of the ordedr of merit will be made on the 13th alter the comp.) Make your reservatons now!! Guests welcome. Sundays still Competition day at Mijas.

Want to improve your game, we now have two teaching choices, using the La Noria Golf range. The local PGA professional at La Noria, give hour lessons at only 35euros, or (book directly at La Noria). Or book lessons from the Sunshine Golf PGA professionals, Tony and David have 47 years teaching experience between, them, coaching the golfer, not the swing. They are offering members a discounted rate of 50€. Book in the golf store (952 49 37 09 – quote your club number.)

JUNIORS: La Noria have free teaching for children between 10 and 12 Saturday mornings, ring La Noria and ask for Eric.

We are pleased to announce that Chris Graham is now the new Captain of the Sunshine Golf Club, we are happy to have Chris as our Captain and feel sure you will all give him the support he will need to grow the Sunshine Golf Club into its full potential.

The new season is just about to begin, Chris already has interesting plans for the next season and as soon as these are finalsied we will advise you. Many of you will know Chris, having played with him in various competitions etc., he is one of our best golfers, playing off a handicap of 2 and looks forward to playing a round of golf with you in the future.
