It’s been a while since we sent our last Members Newsletter, we apologise for this, but Sunshine Golf, as usual, has been heavily involved in changing and growing it’s business. We are pleased to announce that Sunshine Golf have at last taken over the Miraflores Golf Academy. It was officially opened at the end of January and is already a great success, new mats, balls and markers are all in place, the Academy has been renovated, and is really busy, there are two full time teaching pro’s, David, originally working within the golf store, and Stephano, from the Leadbetter Academy, check our website www.sunshine-golf.com for more details.

Bunkers Bar, at the Academy is now the official home of the Sunshine Golf Club, Chris Graham our Captain is Range Manager and can be found there most days. details of competitions will be posted at the Academy, in Bunkers Bar and of course in our Reservations Office. A members discount is available at the Academy on balls, and product (only of course on items not already discounted,)Chris can teach members at his special rate, you will need your membership card handy to get your discount.

We have appointed Jan Dooley, a real personable lady to run the ladies section, she is busy at the moment trying to contact all the lady members to get something going, this may take awhile, but we are confident that this will be come a really integral part of the Sunshine Golf Club. If you need any further details telephone us at Reservations and we will get Jan to talk to you.

A Club Championship is planned for the end of May, this will be confirmed at a later date but we expect it to be held at Mijas Los Olivos.
