Parque da Floresta

Crafted out of hilly terrain just 15 minutes beyond the historic town Logos (40 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino), this is the most westerly of Algarve’s courses. A total contrast to the other courses of this region, blanketed in white as far as the eye can see when the cistus comes into bloom in spring. Magnificent views inland to the hills and south to the Atlantic.

Boavista Golf

A welcome addition to the Western Algarve, located between Lagos and Praia da Luz (30 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino). Golfers will leave with pleasant memories of the spectacular views of the mountains and sea. A challenging and enjoyable course for golfers of all levels, with a friendly and welcoming clubhouse.

Palmares Golf

Palmares is truly unique golf course (25 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino). Against a backdrop of spectacular and breathtaking scenery, it is graced with the Algarve’s unparalleled sunshine all year round and unforgettable golf course itself, designed by Frank Pennink. Famous for its Almond Blossom Tournament bearing that name in Spring Time.

Morgado do Reguengo Golf

The most recent golf course of the Algarve region is in an area that has been moderately landscaped so it fits perfectly in the surrounding countryside. Besides its length, the course also has an impressive average green size – 800m2, lakes and a series of strategically located bunkers. These features combine to make the Morgado Golf Course a true Championship Course.

Penina Championship**

The masterpiece by which Sir Henry Cotton wished to be remembered the CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE is reverentially referred to as “The Penina” (10km from the Hotel Algarve Casino). It is fining tribute that the Portuguese Open was held here in 1998, 1999 and 2000. Penina also comprises the 2x9 hole “Resort” and “Academy” courses.

Alto Golf

Located near Alvor, a picturesque fishing village in the western Algarve (2,5 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino), this course is set in rolling countryside with views out to the Atlantic and to the busy provincial town of Portimão. Sir Henry Cotton designed it and it features the longest par 5 in Europe.

Pinta Course

Set in undulating land, not far from the popular seaside village of Carvoeiro (17 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino). Scattered with almond, carob, and olive trees many some hundreds of years old. Rated top 100 course in Europe.

Salgados Golf Club

Truly a fabulous contrast to any of the Algarve’s other courses (23 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino). Built on marshland, at sea level, this is a treat in store. Links-style golf under an expansive sky! The course has become a haven for a wide variety of migratory birds. Not Surprisingly much use is made of the water here, and careful course management should be your, watchword.

Millennium Golf Course - **

Laguna Golf Course

In stark contrast to its “ sisters”, and having few pines. As the name suggest, the course has several water hazards within its interesting layout. Also recently refurbished, reinstating many original characteristics “lost” over the years (40 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino).

The Old Course – Vilamoura**

The Old Course was designed by English architect Frank Pennink. Opened in 1969, it was completely refurbished in 1996, when several improvements were introduced and a new clubhouse build.
The course is renowned for the way the designer skilfully utilized the natural contours of the land, maintaining the native vegetation, consisting mainly of pine-woods this is one of the courses in Portugal that will always stand out in the memory of visiting golfers (40 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino).

Pinhal Golf Course

Again distinguished by tree-lined fairways. Recently totally refurbished with some subtle modifications. The first 9 holes are located within an exclusive residential area; the second are more open, undulating and with glimpses out to the sea beyond (40 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino).

Vila Sol**

Located between Vilamoura and Almancil, this is the first course to be designed in Portugal by English golf architect Donald Steel. There are now three 9-hole loops and owners and management alike are extremely proud of their ongoing efforts of course maintenance, which continues to honour Steel’s nature protection policies (45 km from the Hotel Algarve Casino).
