General Conditions
- Joining: To join Sunshine Golf Society you must have a NIE number as proof of living on the coast on a permanent, or semi-permanent, basis.
- Annual Membership Fee: 120€ single membership, 200€ joint membership (husband & wife), 75€ junior membership (up to 14).
- Membership Card: As a Society Member you will be issued with a membership card which will include your photograph and membership number. You may be asked for your membership number when booking tee times and you may be asked to produce the card prior to play or when requesting discounts.
- Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Membership is renewed annually.
- Sunshine Golf Society has agreed that it, and its members, will abide by the terms and conditions of each individual golf club.
- Members of the Sunshine Golf Society will be expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules and etiquette of golf as laid down by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club (R&A).
Booking Conditions
- All bookings must be made via the Sunshine Golf Reservations Team. You can book by telephone: (0034) 952 494 161 or e-mail: reservations@sunshine-golf.com. Bookings are subject to availability at your chosen course.
- When making a reservation members must provide their name, membership number and payment at the time of booking.
- When you make a booking you will be issued with a Sunshine Golf voucher. This must be handed to the caddymaster at the course at least 15 minutes prior to play. Competitions: vouchers are not required our Society Captain will have details of all participants.
- Members are able to book visitors to play with them either in competitions or normal play, provided there is availability. Visitors will pay the normal Sunshine Golf discounted green fee.
- Cancellations are permitted up to eight days before play, no refunds available for cancellations after this time. No shows are classed as late cancellations.
Handicaps
- All matters concerning handicaps of members will be handled by the Society Captain.
- The Society will recognize your existing handicap.
- Handicap details are available by contacting the Society Captain.
- Score cards from Society Competitions are to be handed to the Society Captain who will change your handicap accordingly.
Membership Benefits
- Members are entitled to preferential green fees at the Sunshine Golf Society associated courses.
- All members are eligible to play in the Sunshine Golf Society competitions.
- Golf Tuition: Mike Roberts is a UK PGA Pro who offers special discounted rates to Sunshine Golf Society members you can contact him on: (0034) 679 258 369.
- Discounts on all in store purchases are available to Society Members, you will need your membership card to receive this discount. This does not apply to ‘special offers’ or sale items.
- Regular Newsletters are sent out to our members by e-mail. If you do not receive these then please let us know.
- Social Events: An annual Dinner & Dance event is held around the Christmas period. We also have the occasional after golf BBQ (usually in the Summer) where visitors and friends of members are welcome if there is space available.
